At last weeks annual honors convocation, we were pleased to present Alissa Blount, a senior at Medina High School, with the 2019 Outstanding John Ryan Scholarship presented by the Medina Sandstone Society.
Alissa will be attending Daemon College in Buffalo this fall and will major in Nursing. Her essay on “Medina: Roots in the Past; Eyes on the Future was a wonderful example of this senior’s view on Medina. She said she learned so much about the history of our village that she never knew, which is the purpose of this program.
